Formation of Persatuan Penduduk Kampung Senibong Singai
The formation of the Persatuan Penduduk Kampung Senibong SIngai Bau (PPKSSB), officially registered under the Registrar of Society Malaysia (ROS), traces its origins to the Jawatankuasa Kemajuan dan Keselamatan Kampung Senibung Singai Bau (JKKK Senibung Singai Bau). This pivotal transition reflects the evolution of local governance and community development efforts aimed at addressing the needs and aspirations of the village’s residents.
JKKK Senibung Singai Bau was initially established as a village development and security committee, tasked with overseeing and facilitating local projects, enhancing community safety, and implementing various developmental initiatives. Its role was crucial in addressing the day-to-day needs of the village, including infrastructure improvements, security issues, and social welfare.
As the village’s needs grew and the scope of development expanded, there emerged a clear demand for a more structured and formalized approach to community management. This led to the evolution of the JKKK into a more comprehensive entity, culminating in the official registration of the PPKSSB under the Registrar of Society Malaysia (ROS) on June 21, 2024.
The transition from JKKK Senibung Singai Bau to the PPKSSB represents a significant shift in governance, aiming to leverage formal structures to enhance effectiveness, transparency, and inclusiveness in community development.
